At THE GOLDEN BASKET you will find exquisite treasures, dated and signed by the artist Glenaan Elliott Robbins.

Her original gold baskets, first designed and created in 1977, have a secure, working-hinge lid, moving handles, and come with a miniature penny inside. Glenaan's designs are available in 14k gold, 18k gold, platinum and sterling silver.

Custom work has been available since Glenaan opened her first store and includes precious stones, scrimshaw or engraving. The scrimshaw is done by master scrimshanders and is available in the traditional black or in color.

At THE GOLDEN BASKET you will not only find the island's original miniature baskets, you'll find Glenaan's original kidney-shaped Nantucket Lightship Basket handbag and other exquisite items of Nantucket history and New England flavor . . . ditty boxes, whirligigs, firkins . . . even a Susan's Tooth.
